Hey there! I’m a serial entrepreneur who has had not one, not two, but 14 successful ventures under my belt and several unsuccessful ones. I like to call them “learning experiences.” Everyone passes failure on the way to success. Some people circle the block and pass it a few times, but that’s okay if you learn from your mistakes. And get this – I started my first business when I was just 15 years old in Minnetonka, MN, my hometown.
I had my first exit before I finished college. The coolest part of this story is the company I started still exists today. Thank my entrepreneurial parents for giving me that push early on But let me tell you about one of my most remarkable accomplishments. I co-founded one of the very first email marketing companies. We were sending 100 million permission-based emails daily – can you believe that? And guess what? My digital marketing company still exists today. These days, we’re all about D2C subscription-based marketing for health and wellness products. We’ve made close to a billion dollars in sales over the last 20 years. Yeah, you read that right – a billion! My marketing company, “BrandAid,” has been through some changes over the years. We’ve evolved into a brand marketing company AND a solutions provider for venture-backed startups.” Let me tell you, we’ve got our fingers in a lot of pies. But that’s not all! In 2021 I decided to venture into the hyper-growth industry of Telehealth with my latest startup, DAPPER Care. We’re all about revolutionizing traditional healthcare, utilizing Open AI, and making it high-quality and affordable for everyone. We’re tackling sensitive issues like sexual health, hair loss, skincare, and mental health. It’s important stuff, and we’re passionate about making a difference. When I’m not busy running my businesses, you can find me mentoring aspiring entrepreneurs, offering advice to first-time founders, and coaching Los Altos Little League. Did I mention that my wife is a rockstar in the pediatric oncology department at Stanford’s Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital? Yeah, we’re a power couple. My achievements have been recognized and featured in all the big names – Bloomberg, Business Insider, LA Times, LA Weekly, Yahoo, and OC Register. In the midst of my pursuits, I’ve realized that success isn’t just about the numbers—it’s about making a tangible impact in the lives of others. It’s about using my knowledge and platform to disrupt stagnant industries, introduce innovative solutions, and, ultimately, make the world a better place. Finally, it’s not the accolades and achievements that define us; it’s the difference we make in people’s lives. So, whether discussing D2C marketing, Telehealth, or Little League coaching, I aim to bring about positive change. I’m in the business of building dreams and want to build yours too. Let’s embark on this journey together and make the impossible possible.
